Our Board

The Daniel’s Care Van Board is made up of a diverse group of volunteers who bring varied backgrounds and expertise to the team. Meet our Board below:

Professionally, Jeri’s has an extensive background in admin and management of a private car company.

With 10+ years working in public safety and emergency communications settings, Ruben is retired from the United States Air Force and a current employee with the City and County of Denver Emergency Services.

pamPam Bittner

Pam brings a broad expertise in leadership and management, computer software and technology, and project management to the DCV team. As a certified Project Management Professional, she has a breadth of experience in the commercial and consumer IT industry. Pam holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Boston College.

pamCourtney Eckelberry

Courtney and Jeri met around 2002 and have been friends ever since. Courtney’s daughter, Ivy, and Daniel were just a few months apart in age and became fast friends as well. After his diagnosis, Ivy showed a maturity beyond her years and focused all her energy into helping Daniel and kids like him. Every year for her birthday, she asks her guests to bring gifts for the kids at Children’s Hospital instead of gifts for herself. She started Ivy’s Lemonade Stand and donates all proceeds to DCV every summer – as well as sponsoring the Lemonade and Snack table at the annual Kickball Tournament. Ivy’s unwavering support for her friend through DCV, as well as her own love and commitment to DCV inspired Courtney to become a board member. She hopes to bring her skills in working with people, creative thinking and OBSESSIVE organization to the team, expanding the successes and continuing the mission of DCV.

rachelRachel Geib

Rachel is the proud momma of two beautiful little girls, Annabelle and Juliet. At 12 months old Annabelle was diagnosed with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. Annabelle has been the recipient of so much support and good will from the community, Rachel feels very strongly that she needs to pay it forward and shower others in kindness. Being a member of the board for Daniel’s Care Van gives her an opportunity to give back to a community that has given her so much. Professionally, Rachel is a marketing project manager with over 14 years of experience in all aspects of marketing, design, advertising, public relations, event planning, and management.
