March Update

March has been a very exciting month here at Daniel’s Care Van. The Denver area received nearly 20” of snow during the month, but there were no snow days for Transporting the Brave! We logged 1,595 miles, bringing our total to 12,111. Check out our other highlights for March:

Fundraiser at Berkeley Untapped We are honored to be one of three charitable organizations featured at Berkeley Untapped throughout the month of April. With every drink purchase throughout the month, patrons can choose to donate a token to one of the featured charities, and at the end of the month, each charity earns about $0.25 per token. On the evening of April 2oth, we’ll be hosting a mixer at Berkeley Untapped in the Highlands to show our support for the business – we hope many Daniel’s Care Van fans will join us! Merchandise Coming Soon We’re so excited to launch our custom Daniel’s Care Van merchandise! These inspirational shirts, as well as some coffee mugs, will be on sale soon. Watch for an announcement.

Smiles are the Best Gifts One of our brave riders is a 4-year-old girl who speaks only Mandarin Chinese. In March, she honored Jeri with a beautiful gift of painted chopsticks. They’re beautiful, and we so appreciate her gratitude, but the best gift of all is her smile and laughter. When she’s feeling up to it, and even when she’s not, she likes to sing and laugh all the way from her home in Erie to Children’s Hospital in Aurora. A day with this little one is always a great day #‎TransportingTheBrave!

Van Donation We are over the moon excited by the donation of a gently used mini-van by our dear friend Susan. With space for more passengers, we’ll be able to transport more brave kiddos each day. Thank you Susan!

Daniel the Brave Team Raised $7100 for St. Baldrick’s We’re very proud of the Daniel the Brave team who raised $7100 for much needed childhood cancer research. This is an annual tradition honoring Daniel – thank you Team Daniel the Brave!
