Since Daniel’s Care Van started Transporting The Brave in April we have driven 3,039 miles, and this is just the beginning. Our average total miles for each child we drive is 60 each way. Wow! With every mile we drive, we know we’re making a difference in the life of a child with cancer. Speaking of miles, this month we met the group 4Another, two men who are literally running across the country to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. What an inspiration! The 4Another event was just one of many exciting highlights for us during the month of August. [Read more…]
July Update

We’ve had a busy month here at Daniel’s Care Van! We are driving kids 4-5 days per week now. Calls have been coming in from new patients from both Children’s Hospital Colorado and Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children all along the Front Range.
Donations continue to trickle in, and in the last few weeks we’ve been shown generosity in amazing ways. From Ivy’s lemonade stand to the emergency car upholstery shampoo done for free from All Pro Auto, we’re definitely feeling the love of the community as we continue #TransportingTheBrave! Lemonade Stand for Daniel’s Care Van
Daniel’s friend, Ivy, who is just 6 years old, put up a lemonade stand to raise money for Daniel’s Care Van. We want to send a big, huge thank you to Ivy and her mom Courtney for putting this together. Ivy raised $132 selling lemonade and cookies! Ivy, you have a heart of gold and I’m happy to know you. Thank you.

Thank You All Pro Auto!
Daniel’s Care Van would like to give a huge shout out to the guys at All Pro Auto Inc, on West Hampden. They did an emergency upholstery shampoo for us today, as they were closing, free of charge. One of the horrible side effects of chemo is getting sick and we accept that this is part of #TransportingTheBrave. Thank you All Pro Auto for helping us out this afternoon.
